Originally developed for erectile dysfunction, it is FDA-approved as Vyleesi for treating hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) in premenopausal women, administered via subcutaneous injection. While used off-label for men, it's given for low libido, with common side effects including nausea, flushing, and headaches.
