Retatrutide is a promising peptide drug from Eli Lilly being developed for weight loss and Type 2 diabetes, known as a "triple G" because it mimics three hormones: GIP, GLP-1, and glucagon, leading to significant appetite reduction and improved metabolism, with Phase 2 trials showing substantial weight loss (over 24% average) but it is not yet FDA-approved and available only through trials, with side effects similar to other incretin mimetics.
